Weekly Prothom Alo USA (প্রথম আলো) is a weekly Bangla newspaper printed and published from Bronx, New York City. Founded in 2013, Weekly Prothom Alo is the first newspaper published in the Bronx area for the Bangladeshi community. It is printed every Sunday. A printed version of the newspaper is distributed free of cost. The newspaper is available in Bangladeshi grocery stores, restaurants, and mosques in Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn. Prothom Alo maintains a website where the newspaper is uploaded in PDF format. The newspaper’s primary focus is to provide essential Bangladeshi news to the Bangladeshi community in Bangla, as most of its readership is Bangladeshi immigrants living in New York.

The newspaper collects news, articles, features, columns, pictures, etc. from Bangla and English online media sources. In-house writers/reporters write on community news and events. Advertisement is the principal source of revenue.
