Sher-e Bangla Agricultural University Alumni Association of USA Closed Now

Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Alumni Association of USA (SAUAA) is an organization of former students of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University of Bangladesh who live in the USA. Founded in 2011 and registered in 2021, the association is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious agricultural science and education-oriented welfare and voluntary professional organization (DOS #6242789). Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Alumni Association (SAUAA) is based in New York City, as most of its members are located in the five boroughs of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. SAUAA is run by an executive committee elected by its members.

SAUAA Objectives:

1. Foster cooperation and collaboration amongst SAUAA graduates residing in the United States of America.
2. Build and maintain relations with other agricultural and related professionals in the United States of America and Bangladesh.
3. Help establish newly migrated agriculture graduates from Bangladesh and aid them in adjusting to life in the United States of America by guiding jobs, education, housing, etc.
4. Support and encourage the development of the agricultural profession and related educational fields in Bangladesh and the United States of America.
5. Develop and conduct programs to improve the professional standards of the members of the Association.
6. Promote a welfare fund for emergency help to members’ families in case of need.
7. Protect the professional interests of members of the Association.
8. Organize social, cultural, and educational programs to enhance the friendly relationship and cooperation among the members and their families.
9. Protect Bangladesh’s national interest and promote cooperation between Bangladesh and the United States of America in all possible areas for the mutual benefit of both countries.
