Satkania Samity USA

Founded in 2020, the Satkania Samity USA is an association of people from the Satkania Upazilla District of Chittagong, Bangladesh. The association is a non-profit, non-political, tax-exempt (DOS ID: 5731697) organization based in Jamaica, Queens, NYC, with members living in the five boroughs of NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

The principal aim of Satkania Samity USA is to establish and maintain networking with each other through various cultural and social events, such as annual picnics, iftar parties, Eid reunions, etc. The association also aims to fund a scholarship program for talented students and help members with funerals, birthdays, graduations, weddings, and memorials via the GoFundMe platform.

Membership:

Satkania Samity USA has membership in three categories.

a) General membership is available for a donation of $100 every two years.
b) Life membership can be obtained by donating $500.
c) Honorary membership is given to select persons; donation is optional.
