Buffalo Islamic Cultural Center (BICC) is a Bangladeshi mosque and education center in Buffalo, New York. It was founded in 2000 and registered in 2015 as a not-for-profit educational entity to run a Quran Academy. The center is part of the Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA), a faith-based religious and social organization.

Mission & Vision

To provide multifaceted services to the Muslim community of Buffalo and beyond that will fulfil the religious, social, cultural, educational, and recreational needs through building and maintaining appropriate facilities.

Buffalo Islamic Cultural Center offers

Other services:
  • Nikah: Islamic marriage ceremony, a sacred contract between a man and a woman that formalizes their union following Islamic law. It involves mutual consent, a marriage proposal, acceptance, and dowry payment from the groom to the bride.
  • Janazah: Islamic funeral rites performed after a Muslim’s death. It includes the ritual washing and shrouding of the body, followed by the Janazah prayer, a special congregational prayer offered for the deceased seeking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.
  • Hajj & Umrah: Prepare and offer information about Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which every adult Muslim must perform at least once in their lifetime. Umrah (a lesser pilgrimage) can be performed at any time of the year but is not obligatory.
  • Duah: Daily and weekly duah session – the act of supplication or prayer in Islam, where a Muslim directly communicates with Allah, expressing needs, seeking guidance, asking for forgiveness, or giving thanks.

The center runs Masjid Baitul Aman for daily and weekly prayers.

Friday, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Saturday, 8:00 am – 1:45 pm
