Baitul Mukarram Masjid, also known as the Bangladesh Islamic Center, is a Bangladeshi mosque located in Arlington, Virginia, United States. The mosque is a popular destination for the Muslim community of Bangladesh and other nationalities. The mosque has five daily prayers, Friday Jumma prayer, and prayer at other major events.
The Bangladesh Islamic Center’s mission is to provide facilities and services to the expanding Muslim community in the Arlington, Virginia area. The mosque aims to disseminate information more rapidly, educate the community about our presence, and assist our youth in developing strength and knowledge.
Islamic Education
Baitul Mukarram Masjid also offers Qur’an learning facilities, where students can learn the Qur’an by heart under the guidance of a qualified Imam.
- Free Adult classes:
Every Saturday from Magrib to Isha (6:00 pm – 8:30 pm) - Hifz Program:
– The Hifz program is $50 for the first full year and is four times a week from Monday to Thursday.
– Regular classes are from Asr to Magrib - Weekly Halaqa (gathering for knowledge):
– Weekly Halaqas are held every Sunday from Magrib to Isha (6:00 pm – 8:30 pm). Free dinner is available for participants. - Weekend Classes:
– Weekend classes for children aged 5 to 15 are available. Tuition fees range from $125 to $250 for six months. This comprehensive package covers the cost of food, drinks (provided during breaks), and other services offered for the children. The classes are held from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm or 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, depending on daylight saving time.
