BUETian USA Closed Now

BUETian USA is an alumni association of Bangladeshi students who attended the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, commonly known by its acronym BUET. Most alumni members live and work in the Capital Region – Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

The principal aim of BUETian USA is to maintain networking, bonding, and assisting each other. The association organizes yearly picnics, attends Ekushey programs, and participates in cultural events. BUETian USA also orchestrates Bangladeshi student outreach programs for Bangladeshi students in the DMV area universities. The alumni also take the initiative to help with disaster relief in Bangladesh, help fellow alumni members in times of need, and organize reception events for visiting Bangladeshi scholars.

Membership is open to ex-students of BUET for $25 per calendar year.
