Prokriti, New York Closed Now

Prokriti, New York is a Bangladeshi cultural group in New York City to celebrate the music and life of Rabindranath Tagore. The group promotes rich Bangla music and literary works of Rabindranath Tagore and Nazrul Islam. The aim is to entertain the Bangla song lovers, introduce Bangla music to the new generation of Bangladeshi-Americans, and keep Bangla culture alive and thrive in USA.

Prokriti, New York also practices classical music like Khayal, Tarana, Bhajan/Vajan, Tappa/Toppa, folk songs of Bangladesh.
