Butterfly Senior Day Care is a social service business, a Bangladeshi adult care enterprise, that provides adult care in Queens, New York. It was established in 2022 to help adults, especially senior citizens, with their mental and physical well-being. Butterfly Senior Day Care is open to all communities, with a special focus on the South Asian community.

Butterfly Senior Day Care provides the following activities:

• Parties and celebrations: hosts regular parties and celebrations for its members, such as birthdays, holidays, and cultural events. These events offer opportunities for members to socialize, have fun, and celebrate their lives.
• Mental stimulation games: The club offers a variety of mental stimulation games for its members, such as bingo, cards, and dominoes. These games help keep members’ minds active and engaged.
• Field trips and local attraction visits: organizes regular field trips and local attraction visits for its members. These trips allow members to get out and explore their community, learn new things, and make memories.
• Fitness and exercise: The club offers a variety of fitness and exercise classes for its members, such as ludu, carom, and chess. These classes help keep members’ bodies healthy and strong.
• Nutritious meals and snacks: provides its members with nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. These meals and snacks help to keep members’ energy levels up and their bodies healthy.

Services include:

• Home care service: help clients find and connect with home care providers who can help them with their daily living needs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.
• Senior housing application: help clients apply for senior housing, including public housing and Section 8 housing
• Public housing application: help clients apply for public housing, which is affordable housing for low-income families and individuals
• Food stamp application: help clients apply for food stamps and financial assistance to low-income families and individuals
• Senior Metrocard application: help clients apply for a discounted senior Metrocard
• Language translation service:  provide language translation services for its members
• Prayer service: offers a prayer service for its members, with man-woman separate arrangements.
